Thank you for considering me to assist you during your labor and birth. It is an intimate, miraculous time and an honor to be part of. Here is a bit about myself and my qualifications:

I chose the doula profession after the birth of my first child. The support, encouragement and empowerment gained from my doula's presence during a healthy, albeit "high risk" diabetic pregnancy and birth left a deep impression on me. Seeking to give other women the chance to pursue their ideal birth, I completed doula training in 2006 and got certified through DONA. I am also a licensed massage practitioner with additional training in pre-natal and infant massage. I provide an hour massage for doula clients leading up to or following birth as part of my doula package. I plan on continuing my education when my kids are grown to pursue midwifery, a nurse practitioner degree, or both. Here is a list of my training in the field of childbirth and beyond:
